For prices and purchase Inspiration for this collection came from  memories of playing with sand as kids and our desire to bring this material back into our adult lives. Through blown glass pieces, we transform sand into something elegant and delicate, exploring its potential.
The collection presents sand from a new perspective, as elegant, delicate, and also highlights the uniqueness of each grain. We looked at sand thought the lenses of microscope which revealed unique shapes, colors, and textures of each grain. By arranging magnified grains together, playing with volumes and stacking we created “microscopic sandcastles” which were the starting point for designing the collection. We also integrated the raw material into the process by constructing sand molds for glassblowing.
